middle of it or they want to make issue judgments, 
condemnations, praise, whatever, on the world. It’s 
a temptation that comes to anybody that starts 
thinking about how the world is going.

Marshall resisted that temptation after The

classroom here many times, saying the experts 
and the moralists are the people who stay put. 
They say “Stop the world, I want to get off.” They 
cease to really perceive what’s going on. They have
